Well I’m still down in Taiba, practicing and making videos. Too bad, but I have to head back to Miami in 5 days. Well I’ll make the most of it and try to film as much as I can in my last few days and get one more video out from the trip. After that, I’m starting University at University of Miami, and then I’ll be in Florida for all of the spring contests!

After a really long plane flight and an hour taxi ride, Rachel and I finally arrived at Pousada Amarela in Taiba, where we will be staying for the next 3 months. In the last few days we’ve met a ton of new people and have had some great sessions, both in the ocean and in the lagoon at high tide. The wind’s been really good everyday so far, and I’ve already started learning new tricks. We’re taking tons of videos and pictures, so I’ll post a quick video as soon as I can.

Well I spent the last few weeks in Michigan, the wind wasn’t great, but I got to ride some, including a session on my lake that ended with my kite crashing into a fire pit. I just got down to Miami, where I’ll be hanging out for a few days and seeing friends, and then its off to Brazil for 3 months with my friend Rachel Montague! We’re staying in Taiba at Pousada Amarela, and I’m looking forward to riding everyday. I’ve never been to Brazil before, and I can’t wait. We fly down on Sunday, so be sure to check back soon for pics and videos of the trip!
