Here’s  a video of my first few weeks training in Brazil, check it out

Last week I did KPWT for the first time; it was a good experience and I had a lot of fun. I won my first round but in the second round the wind got pretty light, and I didn’t have enough power to do anything. I ended up in 17th place, which I was happy about because it’s my first world tour stop.

Now I am here until December 20th just training and making video’s, so I hope to have a good video up soon.

After a really long plane flight and an hour taxi ride, Rachel and I finally arrived at Pousada Amarela in Taiba, where we will be staying for the next 3 months. In the last few days we’ve met a ton of new people and have had some great sessions, both in the ocean and in the lagoon at high tide. The wind’s been really good everyday so far, and I’ve already started learning new tricks. We’re taking tons of videos and pictures, so I’ll post a quick video as soon as I can.

Well I spent the last few weeks in Michigan, the wind wasn’t great, but I got to ride some, including a session on my lake that ended with my kite crashing into a fire pit. I just got down to Miami, where I’ll be hanging out for a few days and seeing friends, and then its off to Brazil for 3 months with my friend Rachel Montague! We’re staying in Taiba at Pousada Amarela, and I’m looking forward to riding everyday. I’ve never been to Brazil before, and I can’t wait. We fly down on Sunday, so be sure to check back soon for pics and videos of the trip!
