I’ve been riding everyday this week on  a 9 or 12, and have been learning a bunch of new tricks. Yesterday we went up to Crandon Beach in Miami and I rode a 9 all day

Yesterday I went to the Miami Kitemasters at Crandon Beach. The wind wasn’t very good, it was light and inconsistent, but the contest was a lot of fun. I tried the course racing, and it was fun because if was a lot different than what I normally do. Then the freestyle started. Everyone was in the same division, with 2 8 man heats. I managed to pull off a couple good handlepasses and tricks to blind, and came out with second place. I was way stoked on the results and had a lot of fun. I also met a ton of new cool people. The results were

I Just got back from the Jupiter Kite Invasion, which was great this year. Friday wasn’t any good as the wind was too light, however Saturday was great, it was a little side-off and really gusty, but I was lit on my 9m. In the semi-finals I was able to land a bunch of my tricks like some sent passes and a slim and a few kiteloops. I got close on a KL3 too, but didn’t make it. In the finals my leash got stuck on the spreader bar and got all jammed up, so I had to come in to get it unjammed. After that, I tried to get a few good passes in however I didn’t have enough time and the wind was fluky. But I still got 2nd place so I was stoked. Here’s a pic from the podium, and check back soon because I will be putting up other pics from the event as soon as I get a chance too. Its windy all week here, so I’ll definitly be getting a lot of riding in. Yesterday I landed my first ever back mobe 5 which I was stoked about, so hopefully I can get that consistent and get some sequences and video up soon.
