After a really long plane flight and an hour taxi ride, Rachel and I finally arrived at Pousada Amarela in Taiba, where we will be staying for the next 3 months. In the last few days we’ve met a ton of new people and have had some great sessions, both in the ocean and in the lagoon at high tide. The wind’s been really good everyday so far, and I’ve already started learning new tricks. We’re taking tons of videos and pictures, so I’ll post a quick video as soon as I can.

The last two weeks I’ve been in the Gorge for a North photo and video shoot. I rode with Jon Van Malsen and Sky Solbach a lot, and we got some sick photos. Also, got to ride a lot with Nick and Dan from North, and we did a fun downwinder from Viento to Hood River. We went all over the Gorge shooting photos with Adam and Andy Koch, and the pics definitly are going to turn out great. I’ll post pics from the trip as soon as I get a chance to. Last week I got to shoot with underwater photographer Stephen Frink. He lives in Key Largo and has a great eye for creative pictures. I’ve been riding everyday this week on  a 9 or 12, and have been learning a bunch of new tricks. Yesterday we went up to Crandon Beach in Miami and I rode a 9 all day
