Aug 6th. Stevenson, Wa. In a competition field of over 30, North Kiteboarding’s very own Tommy Fields battled his way to the top and ended up claiming the top prize this weekend at the 11th annual Bridge of the Gods. This victory marks the third major victory Tommy has claimed in the past year. The BOTG is know throughout the industry as a landmark competition with great riders and this year was no exception. With riders attending from all over the world, ranging from Mexico to France. However Tommy’s relentless execution of some of the most technical moves imaginable, proved to be too much for the competition. Another solid showing for the young North teamrider. -Alex Fox

This weekend I had a great time at the Miami Kite Masters. The wind was good Saturday, and started off with Course Racing. Then, we moved into freestyle, and the finals was one of the best of the kitemasters so far. I rode hard, landed as much as I could and ended up on top! I ended up with 1st in the Juniors Course Racing and 1st in the Overall Mens Freestyle! check out more at http://www.fksa.org/showthread.php?t=9508

This weekend we had the Islamorada Invitational. Although the wind’s were pretty light, there was enough on Friday for a freestyle expression session and another jam on Sunday followed by a course race. The weekend was great, and I managed to pull out the win! 1st place Freestyle and 1st place Course Racing.

Also, get ready for the Miami Kitemasters coming up on April 10th and 11th, it should be a great event, and be sure to come early, as we will be having a premier party Friday the 9th for the new North Behind the Scenes movie, which I’m stoked to have a part in. The party’ll have food from pategonia and music by Kulcha Shok!

A while ago we were up riding at Matheson in Miami. Lino from Windigo Apparel http://www.windigoinc.com/apparel.html was there and he shot some good video of Noe and I riding. I was having an off day and didn’t land very much, but check it out.

This weekend was the 2009 Miami Kitemasters. The wind started out light and was in between times of pouring rain and no wind. But then, the wind picked up and it got sunny out. I was able to get 1st in the juniors course racing and 3rd in the overall racing on my regular freestyle board.
